It is tournament time so let the straight bets, the teasers and the parlays fly all over the place on Thursday and Friday. Here is my 12 pack of plays over the first two days of action and hopefully they will help you make some money along the way.

Play #1

SOUTH DAKOTA ST +2 over Providence

SDST can run and gun with the best of them, meanwhile Ed Cooley's Friars have cooled off of late. This line seems low since Providence has had a lot of close games this year and this one I expect to be that way but with the Jackrabbits coming out on top.

Play #2

NORFOLK ST +21.5 over Baylor

The defending champs might be a 1 seed but are not as talented as last seasons squad. There is no reason for them to have to run it ups I'll take the 24-6 underdogs with more than 20 points.

Play #3

TENNESSEE -17 over Longwood

Longwood struggled in their conference tournament and Tennessee is going to roll it up to show the NCAA committee shafted the Vols by not giving them a number 2 seed.

Play #4

IOWA -10.5 over Richmond

The Spiders got hot in the Atlantic 10 tournament, but now it is time to get rolled by Keegan Murray and the rest of the Hawkeyes. Iowa averages 84 points per game and shoot 48% from the field.

Play #5

GEORGIA ST/GONZAGA over 149 points

I'm not a big fan of laying huge numbers like the 'Zags are in this matchup, so let's go with the over with one of the highest scoring teams in the land and hope that GSU can get a lot of easy second half hoops.

Play #6

KENTUCKY -18 over St Peter's

The Peacocks have no idea what they are in for against Coach Cal's Kentucky team. the last time the wildcats were in the tourney they beat their opponent in the 1st round by 35.

Play #7

VERMONT +5 over Arkansas

Vermont has pulled shockers in this round before and I'm taking the 5 points with a team that has won 22 of it's last 23 games (loss was by 1 point in OT).

Play #8

SAN FRANCISCO +1.5 over Murray St

This line has moved 3 points but I'm not biting. I understand the Racers have the most wins with 30 in the field and have won 20 in a row, but the West Coast Conference was extremely strong this year and the Dons are 7-2 on the road.

Play #9

YALE +15.5 over Purdue

The Bulldogs guard Azir swain has scored 21 or more in 4 of his last 5 games and should be the main reason Yale sticks around in this one. Purdue has played 17 road games this season and has won by 16 or more just once.

Play #10

VILLANOVA -15.5 over Delaware

Head coach Jay Wright is one of the best coaches in America and his squad leads the nation in free throw percentage which will come in handy against the Blue Hens.

Play #11

CAL-STATE FULLERTON/DUKE over 146

Blue Devil games have gone over 146 in 6 straight and 8 of their last 9 contests. The Titans average a bit over 70 points per contest.

Play #12

LSU -4 over Iowa St

The Cyclones have scored in the 40's or less 5 times this season and 2 of their last 3. LSU may have gotten rid of head coach Will wade at a odd time but I feel this will rally the team and I'm looking for the Tigers to make a deep run as a 6 seed.

HARRY'S FINAL FOUR

ARIZONA -team is a offensive machine and why not the 'Cats now that shady Sean Miller is out in Tucson.

ST MARY'S- the Gaels can score if need be and can't shut you down defensively like they did earlier this season against Gonzaga (held the Bulldogs to 57 points and 36% shooting in win against mark Few's team).

LSU- to add to my LSU pick in Play #12, I feel their path looks good because after slaying the Cyclones, they probably get a banged up Wisconsin team, and after that a Auburn team that is just 5-4 in their last 9 games.

TEXAS TECH- the Red Raiders made the NCAA Finals in 2019 and can do it again mainly because of their defense. They have wins over Tennessee, Kansas, and have beaten Texas and Baylor twice.
